Mini Photoshoots
Mini Photoshoots are a fun way to get to know a new-to-you photographer. What is a mini photo session, you ask? Mini sessions are short photography sessions that are often themed and can take place in a photography Studio or outdoors. At Samuel Marvin Photography our exclusive mini sessions are a great way for us to meet new High School students preparing for their senior year and to help you, as the person being photographed, become more comfortable in front of a camera before your full Senior Session.

The first thing that we want you to know is that mini sessions are so much fun! We play music throughout the studio and work hard to create unique and exciting backdrops and themes for our mini photo sessions. We have multiple couches and chairs in the shooting bay for parents and or your friends that come along with you. Here are answers to some commonly asked questions like, how long is a mini photo session? or How many photos do you get in a mini session?
Currently, Mini Photoshoot Sessions are structured as follows:

$20 Session Fee
*If you are a current Junior (Class of 2024) and have not participated in a previous mini photo session with Samuel Marvin Photography before we will waive the session fee.

2023 Spring Mini Photoshoot Sessions
Are you ready to book your mini photoshoot? Here is how we do it: (1) Keep your eyes on our Instagram Stories as we release each mini photoshoot theme and date. (2) At the beginning of the week we will open our calendar for that week’s mini photoshoot. Sign-ups are on a first-come-first-serve basis so be sure to pick your time as soon as you can. (3) You will receive an email confirmation with information about the mini photoshoot that you signed up for. This email will include clothing suggestions to match the theme, the Studio address, and the time for you chose for your session. (4) Show up to your mini photoshoot about 10 minutes prior to your shoot time. (5) Have fun with us as we create memories and your pictures. (6) Choose your 3 social media images and share them with your friends & family on your favorite social media platform.
